Nancie Bottmeyer - Broker/Owner Nancie, founder of The Madison Company in 1978, is the fourth generation of the Pioneer Lester family who settled in the Santa Clara Valley in the 1800's and recently deeded 300 acres for park and recreation use in San Jose to Santa Clara County. Born and raised in Oregon, crowned Yamhill County Dairy Princess and Grand Champion Dairy Showman, but drawn back to family roots in the Bay Area in 1964. Graduate of San Francisco State University. Worked briefly in advertising, assisted in the opening of the French restaurant, El Paseo, in 1972 in downtown Mill Valley and is the mother of two brilliant sons, Carl and Alex. Enthusiastic traveler and gardener. 15 year resident of Lucas Valley. Member of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Rotary Club of Mission San Rafael.
