Sandy Mahoney Born in San Francisco, Sandy grew up in Pleasanton. She has had many addresses—Vista, Hollywood, Redondo Beach, Pensacola, and back to San Francisco—before winding up in wonderful Marin, where the sale of her great uncle Jack and great aunt Claire’s home was the impetus for her to settle here. That experience, as well as seeing the joy of her parents buy and sell homes in her formative years, opened the door to the career of real estate. With the gift of the Irish gab, she has an extensive background in customer service, having worked for Nordstrom, United Airlines, Chico's Casual Clothing, and waited many a table (even a singing waitress at Max’s in SF) to acquire that “situational awareness” that comes with successful hospitality. Sandy has an innate love of detective work, probably from reading too many mysteries; however it comes in handy when ferreting out the right home for her clients, nothing more satisfying to her than listening to one’s wish list and finding it. Sandy received a B.S. in art from The University of West Florida, Pensacola and had memorable travels in Europe for three months in 1996. She has been performing voice-over work for over 20 years as a side hobby; imagine getting compensated to talk—a dream come true for this Irish girl. She really enjoys taking daily walks with her Marin Humane Society rescue boy, Louie; cooking (hearty soups and stews); Karaoke; and a liberal use of the comma. Sandy works hard for each and every client and strives to provide the independent, honest and thorough service that exemplifies the Madison Company Realtors, providing her clients the service they deserve."

Testimonials October 27, 2004 Nancie Bottmeyer,
CEO & Owner Dear Nancie: I want to thank you and your entire staff for your extraordinary efforts in showing and selling my home at 60 Redwood Road in Fairfax. Let me thank, particularly, your associate, Sandy Mahoney, without whose diligence, sparkle & enthusiasm we all might not be celebrating such a 'clear' and profitable sale! Her orchestration of home improvements and staging were sensational, and I'd like to report to you that my neighbors are all infatuated. She showed the house well, as evidenced, I believe, by the fact that the house was only shown once to the public! It sold in one week! Her attention to detail was HUGE. Thank her for bird-dogging all those faxes, and her gifted work with clients. By the way, three persons have called me for her number. I'd hoped to tell you all this in person, but I understand you're traveling the "South Seas." Safe Journeys! Thanks so much, again, Neil Scheiman ----------------------------------------------------------- 8 July, 2003 Nancie Bottmeyer 810 College
Avenue RE: Ms. Sandy Mahoney Dear Ms. Bottmeyer: In chatting with Ms. Sandy Mahoney, she mentioned that you had placed a great deal of faith in her to be a part of your organization. I would like you to know your faith is well-grounded and justified. My wife and I have just concluded an attempt to purchase a home in Fairfax, and Ms. Mahoney was our Realtor in this attempt. Let me tell you what we see as her strengths:
We feel you are fortunate to have a person of her integrity and creativity working with you. If we in the future decide to do anything in Marin County, be assured Ms. Mahoney will be contacted to help us. Yours sincerely, Don Miller |
